Instapots and Air Fryers- Are they Worth it?

I am a working Mom, and I have a desire to get healthy home cooked meals on the table everyday. If I do not food prep on the weekends, this desire fails and we end up getting takeout. I have always been a lover of my crock pot, but it is not a fast solution!

I recently bough myself a gift, a Ninja Foodi – Air Fryer, Instapot, Slow cooker and Dehydrator. I can now get an entire dinner on the table in 30 minutes, even starting from frozen meat. I also discovered that I can make fried food, which who doesn’t love fried food, that is not greasy and bad for you. Truth be told though, it is not as good as the greasy fried stuff, but it is still a good substitute.

Not only is an instapot and air fryer quick, they also make for easy clean up. I can cook everything in the pot and not use additional cooking vessels.

Which one should you buy?

There are many types out there at different price points. I read a ton of reviews and decided to splurge on the Foodi, but I would say to do your research and find what works for you:

  • Read Reviews

  • Decide the functions that you want – You can get just an instapot, just an air fryer, you can get an instapot with grill. There are so many options

  • Research the size you want – for a family of three, I needed at least an 8.5 qt

Check a couple of my fun recipes below:
